ClusterDelta was founded by a team that started learning volumes in 2009 . The first product was designed for a team working with a small Excel file using VBA inside that allowed us to load clustered volume data and note the market reactions to the volume. The next product was a ClusterDelta Online application that was designed using C# Window Forms which is still available in the download zone. The same time MetaTrader was a good choice for beginners, so first indicators with market data were created for MetaTrader, because Metatrader does not have real volume data. After few years the ClusterDelta package transformed MetaTrader into a trading terminal with all the necessary functionality to work with real market data.
It was a first interface of ClusterDelta created in Excel using Visual Basic for Application. We made the annotations for any movements. It was the times when volume trading were not a famous technology. Unfortunately, I can not found the sources of this great app :-)
Now there are more than 20 indicators available for MetaTrader including Volume Profile. Footprint, Volume Histogram and others such as Delta, CumDelta, VWAP, DPOC, Splash, Infusion, DOM and Tape, Imbalance. The last one is a Bookmap indicator that shows the full depth distribution of the pending orders.
ClusterDelta Orderflow was a next product created using WPF technologies, and MacOS version created using MAUI. Orderflow app has replaced the CD Online app by its functionality, flexibility and some innovative methods.
In the 2023-2024 the Indicators for NinjaTrader and cTrader were released and now the customers of these trading platforms can use ClusterDelta products in their terminals. There are some advantages to use ClusterDelta products in terminals but at the same time there are some limitations that do not allow to make indicators much faster than now. More details you can find in the Indicators descriptions.
The further plans are the attempts to use AI to find out how it would help us in our trading.
I have no idea what it's going to be, but it's definitely going to be something cool.
